This is the first open workshop of 2019, celebrating the first fire festival of the Celtic Wheel of the year - Imbolc. We will work through simple shared ceremony evolving out of a day of deep personal and group exploration in beautiful ancient woodland. This particular day is open to all adults interested in returning to the wild to explore the impact of natural cycles using creative, embodied and indigenous traditional practices. We will explore the plants, trees, themes and metaphors of Imbolc - this deeply feminine time of year - first milk birthing lambs, the ice thaws,  willow, the strong and gently rising snowdrops, crocus and daffodils - earth’s moves towards Spring.

The workshop will take place outdoors with the use of a yurt, fire circle, earthen roundhouse and the wisdom of the woodland herself. Please bring a simple dish to share. Costs are £65 to existing Wild Elders, £85 for those booking as a single session. Reduced rates are offered to those who have attended previously in the year.
